Applied Mathematics

Applied mathematics is the application of mathematical methods by different fields such as science, engineering, computer science, business and industry. In other words, applied mathematics is closely related to other mathematical sciences.

Applied mathematics is also can be considered as a combination of mathematical science and specialized knowledge in the above mentioned fields. The term "applied mathematics" may describe the professional specialty in which mathematicians work on practical problems by formulating and studying mathematical models.

We formulate three sub-areas for applied mathematics consisting of :

• Computational Mathematics.

• Differential Equations, Dynamical Systems, Control Theory.

• Mathematical Modelling.
